One day I was on the Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor looking at the royal wedding dresses the blogger had posted. Believe me there are a lot of modern and historic wedding dresses! However, I prefer to keep things simple when it comes to my knitting and I stumbled upon
Queen Sonja of Norway's Wedding dress. I decided to knit it and stick it on Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
The body of the dress is all one piece and knitted by hand. The train and the sleeves are also hand knitted. The train is attached at the shoulders, like the real dress. The collar of the dress is crocheted. The veil is knitted embroidery floss.
