Wedding Wednesday: Mathilde's Wedding Dress

 Today's post features the then Duchess of Brabant's wedding dress.  It was a dress I was curious to try to make and this is the result.  In 1999 the then Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz married the then Prince Philippe the Duke of Brabant.

The under dress is machine knitted, and the coat part is hand knitted.  The shoes are hand knitted.  The veil is had knitted and she is wearing one of Queen Fabiola's tiaras.
